Welcome to Sahara Imbiss on Bergmannstraße 94, in the much-loved Bergmannkiez. Between the handsome old houses around Chamissoplatz, the Marheineke market hall and Viktoriapark, our shop is a warm spot for fresh, honest Sudanese street food — to eat in, take away, or have delivered.

Bergmannstraße is one of Kreuzberg's liveliest streets: cafés, small shops and plenty of life on the pavement, with one of the city's finest views waiting at the top of the hill in Viktoriapark. After a walk through the park or a wander down Bergmannstraße, a freshly made dish from Sahara Imbiss is just the thing.

Since 2009 we've stood for fresh ingredients, home recipes and genuine Sudanese hospitality — and a glass of free black tea with every visit. Try our crisp falafel, creamy hummus, Ful Medames and our house-made peanut sauce, along with sandwiches, bowls and plates. Vegan, vegetarian or with meat, everything is halal, and much of it is made to order.
