Welcome to Sahara Imbiss in Neukölln, on Herrfurthstraße 5 in the lively Schillerkiez — just steps from the wide-open Tempelhofer Feld. Our shop is a favourite spot for fresh, honest Sudanese street food, whether you sit in, take it away, or order for delivery.

The Schillerkiez around Herrfurthplatz is one of the most colourful corners of Berlin: neighbours from all over the world, little cafés and corner shops, and the vast Tempelhofer Feld where everyone goes to walk, cycle and picnic. A freshly made falafel sandwich from Sahara Imbiss is the perfect companion for a day out on the field.

Since 2009 we've cooked with fresh ingredients and home recipes — no flavour enhancers, no preservatives. Every visit comes with a glass of free black tea, in the spirit of Sudanese hospitality. People love our daily-fresh falafel, creamy hummus, Ful Medames and our signature peanut sauce, along with bowls, sandwiches and plates. Vegan, vegetarian or with meat — it's all halal and made with care.
