Welcome to Sahara Imbiss on Reichenberger Straße 71, in the lively Reichenberger Kiez in Kreuzberg. Set between the green Paul-Lincke-Ufer along the Landwehrkanal and Görlitzer Park, our shop is a favourite for fresh, honest Sudanese street food — to eat in, take away, or have delivered.

This is Kreuzberg the way so many people love it: creative, international and always in motion. Cafés, little studios and the canal-side promenade shape the neighbourhood, which comes alive especially in summer. A freshly made dish from Sahara Imbiss is a perfect fit for a relaxed day by the water or a quick break in between.

Since 2009 we've cooked with fresh ingredients and home recipes — no flavour enhancers, no preservatives. As a sign of Sudanese hospitality, every visit comes with a glass of free black tea. Our daily-fresh falafel, hummus, Ful Medames and unmistakable peanut sauce are favourites, along with sandwiches, bowls and plates. Vegan, vegetarian or with meat — it's all halal and made with care.
